Hmm...i kinda find it abit hard to actually do a daily blogging, and i think i'll change it to a weeky system now, allows me more slack ^.^ . So well i should be blogging during the weekends instead. So wait till then! (I'm le SlackerZ)

Haha sorrie for this late update of recent times, been pretty busy with school work and hardly have time for myself, thus making use of that "free" time to play my KOTOR 2 instead of blogging and watching anime. Well, i'll just run through the recent events of the past week. (This will be quite a long post so bear with me here thanks!)

    11th March 2005

Nothing Much, just departed for Mersing then to Pulau Aur, surprisingly the seas wasn't choppy at all. Somehow the sea felt like the best sea i have ever gone diving so far, so calm and smooth journey.

The bad part gotta be the damn Malaysian Customs at Courseway, supposed to be able to leave the dive bags on the coach, then we already cleared customs, yet due to some bastard custom officer, we had to make a second round carrying our dive bags instead, waste of time and energy.

    12th March 2005

Joined up with the leisure group instead of the Open Water Course group for my diving. Apparently the Naval Diving Unit (NDU) Demolition Squad was having a "holiday", yea the whole batch of them, about 19 of them. LoL they like a bunch of mofos also, very happening, made this trip very fun.

Tried out Underwater Photography for the first time, and damn it wasn't easy. First you got to beat the buoyancy control, then came the waves, then after we had the exposure problems. Sad to say couldn't find much nudibranch (sea slugs) to use as my subjects, only saw 2 on the whole trip. Got to learn the right settings for Underwater photos, got quite alot of under/over exposed shots.

The best part of this day was seeing my Divemaster (DM) Jimmy get attacked by a Triggerfish! As i was tagging behind taking photos (damn they move so fast had to alway keep up), i saw the whole attack scene. Right after the fish swam away we hastely headed into a different direction. Damn those Triggers are fast stuff. Well the DM suffered nothing on the face (trigger couldn't get a proper bite on it), but his hand... T_T cuts all over due to the teeth. But something for me to remember though LoL.

Night time, Beautiful Skyline, Stars in abundance. Wish i had a DSLR and a tripod to take that night sky, simply beautiful. Will load some of the land and U/W photos i took soon so wait for it. ^.^

    13th March 2005

I think i overdid myself for going for 1 more extra dive at the end, in order to take some photos of the open water divers, right after a deep dive and average depth dive, suffered from headache for the rest of the day T_T.

At first wanted to sun-tan on the boat on the way back, but in the end was so tired that i just fell asleep in the seats, stayed up late chatting LoL. Still i had my fair share of sunburns T_T. Overall i found this trip quite rewarding, realised that my diving skills is better than alot of the NDU guys, had great fun, took some nice photos and totally enjoyed my dives. ^.^ Worse part of diving trips....washing of equipment when you're dead tired... T_T

    14th March 2005

Hmm...nothing worth noting, besides applying for LOA for the next day. ^.^

    15th March 2005

Attended the Japan University Seminar at Suntec today, allowed to skip school due to LOA. Interesting talk, though those pure japanese speaker's english is -.-", had to pay FULL attention to know what they're talking. But well it was fun and interesting, and right now i'm about 70% planning to take my Degree in Japan, hopefully with a scholarship, worse come to worse still got PPMM scholarship, if you're wondering what it is...ask your Pa Pa Ma Ma then ^.^ .

Talk ended earlier than expected, ate pastamania with my other 2 friends instead since we didn't have to go back to school as we got LOA for the whole day. Then after went hope, nothing much else to do.

    16th March 2005

Morning, afternoon nothing much. Came evening, got a phone call from Ben at Raffles Place MRT Interchange, apparently they were going out for dinner together with Jakob. Since i haven't seen him in a very very long time (ran to Aussie then to Indo -.-"), decided to go out with them.

Met them at Pooltix (Prinsep), then we had a long discussion of where to go for dinner, eventually ending up at Marchie. After the long dinner, when for some coffee at Coffee Bean at Centrepoint. Then after we split up and went our own ways. I think Kob going back to Indo today right? not too sure but well he'll be back in June so it's alright.

    17th March 2005

Some long schoolday for me, 10am to 8.30pm, with most of the time spent on completing the damn PLC mini-project. I totally hate that machine now, and just waiting to toss the damn thing out of the window or something. And yea started reading Dan Brown's ~ The Da Vinci Code today. Interesting stuff, started and couldn't stop reading, completed about half of the book on this day.

    TODAY! YAY!!

Had Mechanics II Lab Test, some easy but only carries 6% of my total overall marks. Continued reading Da Vinci Code, and i finished it today!!! Yes it took me 2 days to finish the book. Great book interesting story, however i felt that the ending could be made better, oh well could be just me. Should be starting on Dan Brown's ~ Angels and Demons next week.

Ending off here. Hope i didn't bore you with my long post. And yea i already have a new blog design in mind, most likely will be doing it when my school break starts, right now just too busy. Until next time!!

P.S. Will bring back my Quote of the Day soon. ^.^

Sorrie sorrie sorrie!!! I haven't update since i got back from diving trip... been trying to finish my Knights of the Old Republic II (KOTOR 2), and well i just did!! Some stupid ending, the first KOTOR was alot better in storyline. Well i should be doing a proper entry today in reference to my diving trip ^.^ , and i'll also be touching on the Japanese University Seminar that i attended today at Suntec. Chances of my studying in Japan? Should say about 70% there now ^.^ . Oh well will drop dead for now, gotta wake up early for school (6am T_T). So... ~Nighty~!

Sorrie for not blogging for about a week, everything seems to be pretty crazy at the moment especially with school stuff (though i'm slacking mostly). Just to say i'll be taking a short "break" this weekend, will be heading to Pulau Aur for a dive trip as you have already heard/read from my previous thread.

So well with that VERY recent "accident" with that diving boat where 15 SG-divers we left stranded out at sea after their boat sank (LOL), pray that it doesn't happen to me.

Call me crazy or anything that i'm actually going on a dive trip at the end of a monsoon (yay finally can dive!!), but it's also the time where the waves/currents/winds (or just call it the monsoon okay?) is at it's strongest, so well good luck to me.

^.^ Already cancelled the planned night/dawn dive so only will be having max 5 dives on this trip, or even less due to possible weather changes. Will be taking this trip as a training trip for me, in the field of Underwater Photography, hope to get some good photos, load it up and let everyone view it.

All the best to myself then ^.^ Until next time!!

P.S: Sorrie for not doing any quote of the day stuff now, quite brain-dead.

Damn. I hate it when i type a whole lot of ranting on this blog and the explorer have to just crash on you... Argh so i guess i'll be leaving out all the rubbish i HAD planned to type down and just get down to business. Erm, everything is rubbish. Damn. Okay i shall summarise it down then.

    1. Buy D70, Wait for 350D, Don't Buy save money. Reasons:
    - Interest, It's there.
    - Utilisation %, Free time and diving / overseas trips.

    - They taking Open Water Diver Course, i follow for fun.
    - Can practise U/W Photography with lousy camera.
    - I'm dying to dive.

    3. Planning to request for LOA and ask PLC lecturer to posepone project presentation so that i can attend a Jap University Talk at Suntec on 15th March, 9am - 4pm. Why:
    - I want to go Japan and study. (DUH)
    - Interested to Major in Robotics, which only this University in Japan has and i want to get more information on it. Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto Prefecture

If you're interested to attend this seminar, i'll paste the details here for your. ^.^
